These popular crab trees provide three seasons of interest with flowers, fruit and fall color.

Prairifire is one of the most popular crabs on the market with bright red to magenta flowers. Spring foliage is purplish and 3/8” glossy red fruit forms in fall. Sugar Tyme puts on a great show with pale pink flower buds that open into white flowers in spring. Shiny, red, ½” round fruit forms in fall. Leaves turn golden yellow in fall. Pollinators are attracted to the flowers of both trees, songbirds love the fruit and both trees are disease resistant.
