- Fertilize sparingly, once in spring and summer, using a diluted, balanced fertilizer.
- Remove any dead or yellowing leaves and inspect for pests like mealybugs or spider mites, treating any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
- Repot plants every 1-2 years or when they outgrow their current pot. Choose a slightly larger pot with fresh, well-drained soil.
- Allow the plant to dry out for a few days before and after repotting to reduce stress.
