Chargeback Payment Authorization

Final payment amount is determined by your active balance at the time of placing this order. By ordering this item, you authorize Costco.com to make payment for any outstanding balance due to an active chargeback. A temporary hold in the amount of $1.00 will be placed on your card to authorize your card details; only $1.00 is required to authorize your payment information regardless of the total amount due.

This order will then be cancelled and payment for any active chargebacks at the time of authorization will be processed as a separate transaction within 2-5 business days. You will receive a cancellation email and the $1.00 hold will be removed.

• A chargeback may be an outstanding balance caused by your payment being rejected on a card which has been replaced prior to shipment or a disputed charge from Costco.com that had been initiated with your financial institution.
• Active chargebacks may cause your Costco.com orders to be cancelled until payment is provided, returning your account to good standing.

• Costco.com may have sent you an email notification containing the order number and balance in question to the email address recorded on an order in question.
• If you intentionally disputed a charge from Costco with your financial institution.
• If your card had been compromised or lost during or after the time of an order, your financial institution may have disputed or rejected a charge on your behalf.
• You may notice an unknown credit on your credit card statement that has been issued by your financial institution, or you may not see any charges posted at all for a known transaction.
