The Sobu Series is a testament to the beauty of expert hand craftsmanship. Exceptionally sharp, minimalistic, and beautiful, these hand-sharpened blades feature a unique 67-layer damascus pattern across the face of the X7 high-alloy full-tang blades. Rich, ultra-dense Tan Pakka wood handles balance each knife while providing exceptional comfort and precision for the chef, and a solid maple wood magnetic hua block that is perfectly shaped to match and host the knives tastefully. Includes:

​​​​​​​Cleaning, Care & Storage Instructions:
  • Always dry knives completely before placing them into the wooden block. Moisture trapped inside the slots can cause the wood to warp or discolor and may lead to blade rust.
  • Refer to the label on the block for proper insertion and removal of knives to ensure long-term safety and performance.
Cleaning the Knife Block:
  • Clean the exterior regularly with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Wipe dry immediately.​​​​​​​
  • Never submerge the block in water or place it in a dishwasher. Excess water will cause swelling, cracking, and discoloration.
Care for Stainless Steel Base:
  • Even stainless steel can discolor if left in water or a humid environment for too long. Always store your block on a clean, dry countertop to protect both the wood and the base.
Wood Conditioning & Maintenance:
  • Condition the block periodically with food-safe mineral oil to keep the wood nourished and prevent brittleness or cracking.
  • Apply a small amount of mineral oil with a clean cloth, let it absorb, and wipe away any excess.
