The Battery Tender® 5 AMP charger is your go-to for quick maintenance and recharging. Fully automatic and easy to use, this charger uses a four-step charging process: initialization, bulk, absorption, and float. Use our 5 AMP charger with lithium and lead-acid batteries, including flooded or sealed maintenance-free batteries such as AGM and Gel Cell. Suitable for cars, tractors, boats, SUVs, trucks, RVs, and more.   
  • STAY CHARGED: The powerful 5 AMP charger provides a full charge to your automotive vehicle’s battery before automatically going into float mode to maintain proper voltage levels without overcharging.
  • CONNECT AND FORGET: With a low maintenance design, our universal vehicle charger and maintainer is compact, lightweight, and easy to operate even in small storage space for your convenience. IP65 rated for dust and water protection.
  • MONITOR POWER LEVELS: Two LED lights indicate the charging status and if the battery voltage drops too far under load, Infinite Sequential Monitoring (ISM) adaptive charging will resume full charger output power.
  • SAFE AND SECURE: Spark-proof during lead connection and automatically detects reverse polarity to ensure a correct, locked-in connection before providing power. 
  • EXTENDED BATTERY LIFE: Compatible with lead-acid, flooded, and sealed maintenance free batteries (AGM and gel cell) ideal for use in long term storage to provide and maintain an optimal charge. Input voltage 120VAC @ 60 Hz.
