Undenatured Type II Collagen (UC-II®)
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, primarily occurring in the skin, bones and connective tissues. There are various different types of collagen, each with different structures and functions. In the body, type II collagen is an integral component of articular cartilage. UC-II® collagen is a novel, undenatured type II collagen derived from chicken cartilage.
Supplementation with UC-II® has been shown to support joint health, range of motion of the knee joint, and comfortable joint movement.* This effect is temporary in nature, requiring oral consumption on an ongoing basis in order to maintain the benefit.
