9 Unexpected Ways To Save
9 Unexpected Ways To Save
Whether it's your first time at Costco or you're a long-time member, there are plenty of ways to save. Whether you're trying to improve the function of your home or order online, you can make the most of your membership.
Home improvement
With your Costco membership, you may be able to save from floor to ceiling – literally. Make the details of your home come together with hardwood floors, decorative lighting and custom cabinets. Keep an eye out for special promotions in the Costco Savings Booklet.
Pro-Tip: Home security systems are available at a member-only value. From video dorbells to porch light cameras, some bundles even feature extra cameras or sensors for your home.
Backyard fun
Big ticket items such as saunas, outdoor patio furniture and hot tubs are available at Costco.com.
Turning your backyard into a place to gather? Start with a canopy, a fire pit and outdoor lights. Or, add a space heater and extra blankets.
Costco Pharmacy
Costco Pharmacy features vitamins, over-the-counter medications and prescriptions at Costco member prices. Stock up on a three-month supply of many generic prescriptions for less than $15.
Order from home. Visit Pharmacy.Costco.com and click Get Started, or call 1-800-607-6861. Create an online account to get started. Most orders arrive within 14 days, which is especially handy for maintenance medications.
Or, order online. Visit Costco.com and select Pharmacy, then Warehouse Pickup.
Pro-Tip: Help keep your furry friends feeling their best. Costco Pharmacy has common prescription medications for your pets, such as flea and tick protection.
Gift cards
Gift cards are a great way to save. But did you know there's an even bigger selection available at Costco.com? Check often to see if you could save on electronics, Fanatics, Nutrisystem, Uber Eats and more.
Pro-Tip: Can't decide on the perfect gift? Costco Shop Cards are another convenient way for members to pay for their purchases. Plus, you can check your balance on the Costco app.
Health and beauty products
Shopping in larger quantities can help you save in the long term.
For example, purchasing a smaller container of protein powder may only last for a few weeks, but a bigger container for just a little more – or even the same price – could last months.
Check serving sizes to weigh your options.
Browse the health and beauty selection for gifts and personal care items. At any given time, Costco carries various well-known skincare and makeup items, including:
- Hair care, fragrances, nail care, and bath and beauty products
- Japanese and Korean beauty products
