If you're a Costco Executive Member and also have the Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi, you're automatically enrolled in two reward programs. But how do you tell the difference? We created this list to help you get a better understanding of your rewards.
When will I receive my rewards?
Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi Cash Back Rewards
Cash back rewards1 earned on your Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi will be distributed from Citi once your February billing statement closes. Once issued, you also can access your reward on the Citi Mobile® App.
Executive Member Annual 2% Reward
You earn an annual 2% Reward.2 It is mailed to the Primary Member from Costco approximately three months before their Costco membership renewal date. Can't remember your renewal date? You can view it on Costco.com on the Account Details page.
How do I redeem my rewards?
Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi Cash Back Rewards
If you receive paperless monthly statements, you will receive your cash back rewards via email. If you receive mailed monthly statements, your cash back rewards will be mailed along with your February statement. Simply present your emailed or mailed certificate at any U.S. or Puerto Rico Costco Warehouse to redeem it for cash or merchandise. Once the certificate is issued, you can also access it on the Citi Mobile® App.
Executive Member Annual 2% Rewards
Your annual 2% Reward can be redeemed at Costco for merchandise. Simply present it at checkout to apply it toward your purchase.
How are my rewards accrued?
Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi Cash Back Rewards
Earn cash back rewards on purchases wherever Visa® is accepted. You'll earn 5% cash back on gas at Costco and 4% cash back on other eligible gas and electric vehicle (EV) charging. The 5% and 4% earn is on a combined $7,000 spend per year, and then 1% thereafter. You'll also earn 3% on restaurants and eligible travel purchases, including Costco Travel. Get 2% back on all eligible purchases from Costco and Costco.com and 1% on all other purchases.

Executive Member Annual 2% Reward

When do my reward certificates expire?
Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi Cash Back Rewards
Your cash back rewards certificate expires Dec. 31 of the year it's issued. For example, if you receive your certificate in February 2021, it must be redeemed before Dec. 31, 2021. This expiration date will be listed on the reward certificate.
Executive Member Annual 2% Reward
The annual 2% Reward for Executive Members never expires. The reward certificate will list an issue date, but will not list an expiration date. These rewards can be redeemed at any time for merchandise.
