Striving to Source Certified Seafood
We seek to source both wild and farmed seafood from fisheries and farms certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), respectively.
Supporting Fisheries
We work with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to understand the implications of seafood sourcing and support advancements in seafood procurement. Costco has contributed support of over $1 million USD to these efforts.
Founding Member of the Seafood Task Force
Costco is one of the founding members of the Seafood Task Force (STF), a private sector platform tackling the most challenging issues in the seafood industry.
