Planting Tips and Instructions:
- Place it in a bright spot with indirect sunlight, ensuring it receives about 4-8 hours of light daily.
- Use well-draining soil and a pot with drainage holes to prevent water from pooling at the roots.
- Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, typically every 1-2 weeks, and reduce watering in the winter.
- Snake plants thrive in temperatures between 60°F and 90°F (21°C to 32°C). They can tolerate cooler conditions down to 50°F (10°C) but should be protected from frost and temperatures below this range to prevent damage.
- Fertilize sparingly, once in spring and summer, using a diluted, balanced fertilizer.
- Remove any dead or yellowing leaves.
- Repot plants every 1-2 years or when it outgrows its current pot. Choose a slightly larger pot with fresh, well-draining soil.
- Allow the plant to dry out for a few days before and after repotting to reduce stress.
