This Double Magnum (3 Liter) bottle of the 2019 Chateau La Tour de Segur comes in a beautiful wooden display case with a clear, plexiglass front. Perfect for displaying front and center in your cellar, or on the holiday dinner table.
Part of the ‘Satellites of Saint Emilion’ - Lussac Saint-Emilion has the same hilly landscape, dotted with groves and hamlets and the same geological substratum can be found there. To the north of the commune of Lussac, the plateau is covered with Périgord sand, which produces pleasant young wines. To the south, the clay-limestone hillside forms a well exposed arc of a circle; it produces wines that can be kept for longer.
Tasting Notes: Beautiful deep cherry-red color with ruby reflections. Complex and intense nose. Its light fruitiness blends perfectly with greedy notes of vanilla and cedar wood, combined with a subtle hint of spices. The attack is frank with a well present tannic structure. Fresh wine with good length with cedar notes and black fruit pie aromas.
