Orders placed before the 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) deadline on Monday, November 23, 2009 will be delivered before 5:00 p.m. (your local time) on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.

 

Orders placed before the 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) deadline on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 will be delivered before 5:00 p.m. (your local time) on Monday, November 30, 2009.

 

Orders placed before the 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) deadline on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 will be delivered before 5:00 p.m. (your local time) on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

 

Orders placed anytime on Thursday, November 26, 2009, Friday, November 27, 2009, Saturday, November 28, 2009, or Sunday, November 29, 2009 will be delivered before 5:00 p.m. (your local time) on Wednesday, December 2, 2009.

Currently, caskets can only be purchased from and shipped to addresses in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Your bill to and ship to addresses must both be in the list of states above for your order to be valid.

Standard shipping is included in the quoted price. Extraordinary delivery requirements may necessitate an additional fee to the carrier.

A casket ordered on Costco.com will be delivered within three business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) from the date the order is placed (for exceptions see below) . If your order is placed by 12:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST), that is considered as one business day. Standard orders will be delivered by 5:00 p.m. (your local time) on scheduled delivery date. For example, for an order placed on Monday at 12:00 p.m. EST, the casket will be delivered by Wednesday, however if the order is placed on Monday at 12:01 p.m. EST, the casket will deliver by Thursday.

Additionally, Acts of God, weather-related conditions, and states of emergencies can delay delivery beyond the stated delivery parameters.

To facilitate delivery, Costco will provide your bill-to name, phone number, name of the deceased, and name of the mortuary to Universal Casket Company.

Universal Casket Company delivers during normal business hours. You do not have to be present at the time of delivery. If the casket is being delivered to another location, the carrier will call for a delivery appointment and someone must be present to accept delivery.

All purchases are subject to credit card authorization before your order is valid.

As this may be a time sensitive purchase, please take the appropriate steps when you order by calling your bank to verify credit limit and make sure authorization goes through. Please double-check your information for accuracy. Credit Card holds or declines can delay your order beyond the stated delivery parameters above. Your credit card will be charged when the item ships.

Costco.com will only accept a return of a casket due to freight or cosmetic damage from shipping. Please call 1-800-955-2292 for a return authorization. Caskets cannot be returned to Costco warehouses.
