Every iPad comes with one year of hardware repair coverage and up to 90 days of complimentary technical support. AppleCare+ for iPad extends your coverage and includes coverage of your Apple Pencil and Apple-branded iPad keyboard. You’ll get access to one-stop service and support from Apple experts who can help resolve most issues in a single conversation.
Repairs, replacement and service
AppleCare+ covers repairs or replacement – including parts and service – by Apple-authorized technicians using genuine Apple parts. And Apple experts can help you troubleshoot issues with your iPad, iPadOS, and Apple-branded iPad apps.
Hardware Coverage
1. Local telephone fees may apply. Telephone numbers and hours of operation may vary and are subject to change.
2. AppleCare+ coverage begins on your AppleCare+ purchase date. Any unused accidental damage incidents will expire after a year, and you will get two more accidental damage incidents to use within the next 12 months of continued coverage.
3. Service coverage is available only for iPad and its original included accessories, plus on compatible Apple Pencil and one compatible Apple-branded iPad keyboard used with your iPad, or for batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity. The replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may be new or equivalent to new in both performance and reliability. 4. For international service, Apple may service your iPad with a compatible iPad model or parts that comply with local standards. Service options and fees may vary.
