The Southport Solid Wood Bedroom Collection offers a clean profile and beautiful painted finish that blend seamlessly to accommodate a wide range of bedding and décor. Inspired by cottage and coastal elements, we incorporated a portrait frame motif that is reflected throughout the collection. This transitional design cue is complemented by nickel finished drawer pulls and subtle crown moldings. To complete the relaxed feel of this collection, we utilized a special 12-step Vintage Ivory finish. It’s not too dull, not too bright, it’s just right (finish panels available upon request). But visual appeal is just the beginning. To ensure that the Southport Collection is truly exemplary, we insisted that it does not contain any MDF or Particle Board; these inferior wood materials are commonly used in today’s furniture. Additionally, we employed high grade construction techniques to further enhance the durability of the Southport Bedroom Collection. The oversized drawers in each case piece are carefully designed with full English Dovetail joinery, corner blocked and reinforced drawer bottoms, and feature full-extension metal drawer glides. We upgraded this collection by adding extra deep bottom drawers in the dresser and chest. Together, the solid wood and proven construction techniques ensure this beautiful bedroom collection will provide you with years of lasting enjoyment.
