"All Kinds of Love II" by Claes Oldenburg

Cake as art?  Yes, that was the revolution exploding in 1963 known as pop art.  Oldenburg was at the center of it.  This lithograph was created in 1963, a pivotal time in art history and for Oldenburg himself as the year marked his move from New York to Los Angeles where he turned his attention to drawing and imaginary outdoor monuments.  Oldenburg is cemented in art history and the power of his creative genius is felt strongly today.
